From September 21 to 28, 2024, the in-person stage of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Business Incubator took place in Moscow and Dubna.
The initiative to hold the SCO Business Incubator was proposed by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, during the SCO Heads of State Summit in Astana in July 2024.
Participants of the SCO Business Incubator had the opportunity to explore modern technologies and initiatives showcased at the Skolkovo Technopark and Universal University in Moscow, as well as visit unique enterprises located in the Dubna Special Economic Zone.
The SCO Business Incubator program included startup presentations, masterclasses from experts in international business and creative industries, as well as sessions focused on finding foreign partners and attracting investments.
As a result of the in-person program, participants of the incubator concluded more than 20 cooperation agreements in various fields, including IT, industry, e-commerce, marketing, agribusiness, robotics, and advertising.
The SCO Business Incubator was organized by the Russian National Section of the SCO Youth Council, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the ANO “Leaders of International Cooperation,” the Soviet Peace Fund, the Skolkovo Foundation, the Government of the Moscow Region, the Administration of the Dubna City District, the Dubna Special Economic Zone, and the international trade and investment company “Consult Invest ITIC.”
