The results of the Russian-Chinese Youth Business Accelerator in Ulyanovsk
On August 25 the in-person stage of the Russian-Chinese Youth Business Accelerator was completed in Ulyanovsk. Eleven entrepreneurs from China and ten entrepreneurs from Russia took part in it. The accelerator became a platform for establishing new business ties. A total of twenty-two Russian-Chinese agreements aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation were signed during the RCYBA.
On the final day of the program, Boris Gerasin, head of Sber's patent team, and Ostap Dotsenko, head of vendor marketing at Megamarket Corporation, addressed the participants. The experts presented programs and projects in the field of international cooperation.
Over the entire period of work, RCYBA participants reached key agreements and signed agreements in the following areas:
1. Trade: agreements were signed on the supply and promotion of Chinese products in the Russian market, export of Russian agricultural products and fuel to China, as well as cooperation in the purchase and distribution of medical equipment.
2. Investment and joint ventures: agreements were reached on investment partnerships in the food industry and lumber production.
3. Education and consulting: experience exchange in business education, investment and banking took place.
4. Youth policy and exchanges: the intention to continue cooperation in the field of youth policy and organization of exchanges between young entrepreneurs of Ulyanovsk region and Jiangsu and Heilongjiang provinces was confirmed.
5. Provision of services in the entertainment sphere: the prospects of supplying sound and lighting equipment from China to Russia and organizing tours of Russian artists in China were discussed.
A return visit of Russian residents to China to Nanjing is expected in November this year. This event will be a continuation of the Russian-Chinese Youth Business Accelerator.
These results emphasize the significance and potential of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation.
The main organizers of RCYBA were: the Government of Ulyanovsk region, the Ministry of Youth Development of Ulyanovsk region, Ulyanovsk State University and ANO “Leaders of International Cooperation”. The event was held with the grant support of Rosmolodezh.
Partners of the program were: All-China Youth Federation, Youth Council of the Russian-Chinese Committee of Friendship, Peace and Development, Investment Fund “Dome Foundation”, Russian-Asian Business Council, the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia, the company “Consult Invest ITIC” and others.
